fmSMS is a FileMaker solution for sending and receiving SMS (or text) Messages using the Claris FileMaker Platform. fmSMS allows you to quickly send SMS message to individual recipients or a bulk recipients within seconds. Using Webhooks you can have message replies pushed automatically back to fmSMS. fmSMS is completely unlocked allowing you to integrate it into your existing FileMaker solution.

fmSMS main features include:

fmSMS requires an account with one of the supported SMS Gateways that handle the delivery of the messages.

fmSMS includes the following features:

  • Send SMS Messages to Individual Recipient: you can use fmSMS to send a single SMS message to almost any mobile phone in the world via one of our supported SMS Gateways. Messages are typically delivered in seconds
  • Send SMS Messages to Bulk Recipients: send an SMS to multiple recipients at the same time. Simply create a found set/group of recipients, enter your message and click Send
  • WhatsApp support: send messages to WhatsApp users with the WhatsApp Business API with Twilio or Vonage
  • Check Delivery Status: check the Status of Sent Messages at the click of a button
  • Webhooks Support: have incoming messages and delivery status updates pushed to your FileMaker Server automatically using the provided PHP files for the FileMaker Data API, Claris Connect or Otto
  • Message Templates: you can create an unlimited number of Message Templates that you can insert instead of typing the same message each time. Message Templates can also contain merge fields from the Contacts database – for example “Dear ” becomes “Dear Andrew”) and media files
  • Message History: a log of all sent messages is kept. Past sent messages can be viewed against an individual Contact or you can view all past sent messages for all Contacts
  • Scheduled Delivery: schedule Messages to be delivered at a future date and time

Company License: this allows you to use the fmSMS file at a single Company at one location. You can install the fmSMS file on a single FileMaker Server/FileMaker Cloud and use it with an unlimited number of FileMaker Pro, FileMaker Go and FileMaker WebDirect clients. The fmSMS file is completely unlocked allowing you to embed or integrate the fmSMS file with your existing FileMaker solutions on the one server/one location.

Product License: this allows you to integrate the fmSMS solution file with a single product (vertical solution) that your company sells (for example a real estate/healthcare solution built in FileMaker Pro that your company develops and sells). The fmSMS file is completely unlocked allowing you to embed or integrate the fmSMS file with your vertical solution.

Developer License: this allows you to integrate the fmSMS solution file with an unlimited number of clients. The fmSMS file is completely unlocked allowing you to embed or integrate the fmSMS file with an unlimited number of client solutions.
